Getting back to healthy eating – November 20, 2012

Having been to Hawaii at the end of September and then spent three weeks from mid-October until early November in Spain and Portugal, I am up about 5 pounds. I am trying not to panic. I really wanted to have lost weight at this point especially with our nephew’s wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. This is hard time of year to lose weight what with Thanksgiving and Christmas and for me, the wedding and the birthdays. But I shall try.

Here’s what I’ve been eating this past week.

Pan roasted chicken, mixed vegetables and brown rice


Salmon, lentils and asparagus


Pork tenderloin with gravy, butternut squash and asparagus
