Tonight we had the chicken that was postponed from yesterday. This morning I insured we would be having this dinner by making the rutabagas and prepping the broccoli. I sliced off the peel of the rutabagas and chopped them into … Continue reading
April 28, 2016 – Chicken breast with farro and broccoli
Well, this picture turned out looking darker than it was! I think it is because I used a bunch of broccoli stem pieces that picked up some color from the shallots. Honestly, I did not overcook the broccoli! I used … Continue reading

February 2, 2016 – Pan-roasted chicken, butternut squash and broccoli
Not sure why my iPhone has decided to take smaller pictures. It is something which I must have done inadvertently. Here is Chicken Monday on Tuesday. No doubt I shall be confused about which day of the week it is … Continue reading
January 25, 2016 – Chicken Monday
Just a comforting, homey meal on Monday. John made the chicken and I roasted the butternut squash and sautéed some broccoli. The gravy is from a McCormick’s chicken gravy packet. Nothing fancy here but very satisfying.
