Tilapia with tomatoes, olives, and kale. 7/9/25

This sauce is also called agghiotta and is typically served in Sicily with swordfish. I used this recipe from Serious Eats. https://www.seriouseats.com/agghiotta-di-pesce-spada-sicilian-braised-swordfish-with-tomatoes-and-olives-5212333#:~:text=Served%20with%20swordfish%2C%20the%20dish,Sicilian%2Dstyle%20swordfish%22). Seared tuna, rice, broccoli, nuoc cham. 6/14/25

For dinner on Saturday we had very affordable but delicious pieces of tuna. The frozen 10 oz. pieces were on sale for $3.99! John marinated them in soy sauce, ginger and garlic powders, and Old Bay. After a short marination … Continue reading

Fish tacos. 6/8/25

We used tilapia to make our fish tacos but you could use any white fish. The fish cooks quickly in a sauté pan for only about 8 minutes depending on the thickness of your fish. I made a mango and … Continue reading

This bowl of green and orange goodness is easy to make especially if you like to chop vegetables up (like I do!) John, of course, cooked the salmon because he is our protein master and I cut up all the … Continue reading
