Grilled flank steak, baked potato, zucchini. 11/3/23

John did a great job grilling the steak. He seasoned it with salt, garlic, powder, pepper, and smoked paprika. On a pre-heated grill the cooking time is only two and a half to three minutes per side. While he cooked … Continue reading

Buffalo chicken wings and salad. 11/2/23

Not having a menu has dinner topsy-turvy this week. Since we did not take a flank steak out of the freezer early enough for dinner our fallback plan was to make some frozen Buffalo chicken wings and have a salad. … Continue reading

Too much sauce! 11/1/23

I had some tomato sauce left over from last week’s pasta meal. Once I put it in a pan to reheat John and I agreed that it looked like it wasn’t enough for the amount of pasta that he was … Continue reading

This was a pretty fancy dinner for a Monday night! This is our first time trying Atlantic farm raised salmon and we liked it a lot. John seasoned the fish and cooked it in a 400F oven for 12 minutes. … Continue reading

Grilled hamburgers and salad. 10/21/23

Easy dinner tonight! I started out by making the Taylor Farms Steakhouse Wedge salad and added some Power Greens, diced red onion, and the last of our daughter’s cherry tomatoes from the community garden. This made enough salad so that … Continue reading

Stuffed peppers. 10/18/23

During the third week in September I made a batch of meaty spaghetti sauce. I divided it in thirds and froze two containers. Tonight I made stuffed pepper with my remaining third. I mixed the ground beef and tomato sauce … Continue reading
